Saturday Club

The Saturday Club is a club for a mix of people who require a space to go to to meet people, have company and companionship.

It started off for people of mixed ability but it has now broadened to be for anyone who requires a different scenery on a Saturday and who want that company and something different to do.

Saturday club have been on trips to Southport and these trips were well received as they added something special to the members year. It provided something different and helped improve the members moral and self esteem. Not only was it helpful to the members but it was also helpful to the carers , families and support workers. Everyone’s wellbeing is important to the Saturday club.

We  have people come in to sing and speak and play games.

We offer a non judging and no questions atmosphere.

We have people that help that are there for chats and understanding conversations. If there are things people want to talk about there is always a member of the church team there to help.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone deserves to have company and friends. We want to take these people out of their normal surroundings and let them have a great time in their lives, as most of the members have no one to go out with. That is what we offer and will always offer.

We meet from 11am to 1:30pm on the last Saturday each month.
